Two Mile Hollow @ Intiman Theatre
By Leah Nanako Winkler
Directed by Jesse Jou
Meet the Donnellys. A very white family with very white problems. Their movie star father has passed away and his children and widow have returned to Two Mile Hollow, their Hamptons estate, to divide the contents before selling the home. It’s supposed to be a family-only affair but son Christopher, also a famous actor, has brought his personal assistant, Charlotte, along with him. Soon, the white wine starts flowing and secrets are revealed and Charlotte must decide where she fits inside it all.
A parody family drama in the style of Chekov, Eugene O’Neil, Tennessee Williams, and Sam Shepard, Leah Nanako Winkler’s hilarious and insightful play will leave you thinking long after the laughter has faded.
