This year’s Youth Voices reading include themes of earning the respect of your swim teammates, confronting the imaginary world you left behind in lockdown, fighting to be a messy, nuanced person, packing and leaving your childhood home behind, celebrating the love of family, searching for something better in the 80’s, and choosing a dress for yourself instead of others, dammit!
