Love, Loss, and What I Wore @ Western Washington Center for the Arts (Port Orchard)
From prom dresses to wedding gowns, from bras to bathrobes, each piece of clothing triggers a memory that reveals something about identity, relationships, and dreams.
Love, Loss and What I Wore is a witty and heartfelt play by Nora and Delia Ephron, based on the book by Ilene Beckerman. It features five women who share their stories of love, loss, and life through the lens of their clothes. Through a series of monologues that are funny, poignant, and relatable, women talk about their mothers, their sisters, their husbands, their lovers, and themselves. They explore topics such as body image, aging, dating, divorce, and death. They celebrate the joys and sorrows of being a woman in a world that is constantly changing. Directed by Neicie Packer and Lena Sandell.
