Spotlight 🔦
If you can only see one thing this weekend, consider these:
– Closing weekend of the sold-out (there’s hope from the wait list) English at ArtsWest, co-produced with Seda Iranian Theatre Ensemble, through 4/28 (see NWT’s review here);
– The final performances of Grand Kyiv Ballet’s first U.S. tour, performing the ghostly ballet Giselle in Federal Way (4/28), Edmonds (4/30), Arlington (5/2), and Tacoma (5/3) (see NWT’s preview here); or
– The “it only happens once a year” sensory-friendly performance from Broadway at the Paramount, this time for Aladdin (4/27 matinee).
All three are unique runs that should appeal to wide audiences, and all three close this weekend.
