Openings & Short Runs

Self-Care: Workshops for Artists, by Artists

Now through 8/13, 18th & Union offers experiences in caring for body and mind with various approaches, including yoga/dance flow, sound bath, mindful movement, and didgeridoo, and sound bath, and workshops on jumping back into performing after a long hiatus, handling stressors, and caring for your nervous system. All sessions are by donation at the door, but space is limited and RSVP requested. See class info and register here.

And looking ahead to next weekend, on 8/13 Mirror Stage presents self-care workshops — on yoga, mindfulness, and writing for self-care — in connection with its next Contexpo event, on veterans and PTSD. All events are free; see event schedule and info here.
