Seeger – Vashon Theatre Fest @ Open Space (Vashon Island)
Written and Performed by Randy Noojin
Actor, writer, and director Randy Noojin brings his one-man multi-media solo show to the Bruce Black Box theatre at Open Space for Arts & Community. Using Pete Seeger’s music, Noojin spins stories about one of America’s most famous folk singers and social activists of the ‘40s, ‘50s, and turbulent ‘60s. Seeger made famous the civil rights anthem “We Shall Overcome” and wrote dozens of others that became the soundtrack of a generation.
