PNB Dance Film Festival @ Mural Ampitheatre (Seattle Center) ☀️
Dance on Film en plein air: Pacific Northwest Ballet’s Dance Film Festival, born from an unprecedented explosion of creativity during pandemic lockdowns, has grown steadily since its creation in 2021. The 2023 lineup features a dozen exciting new works from established and emerging dance and film artists. This year, audiences can enjoy the full program of the winning films onscreen under the stars and moon.
The brainchild of PNB soloist and filmmaker Price Suddarth, the PNB Dance Film Festival was born during the pandemic, from an unprecedented explosion of creativity during pandemic lockdowns that stretched the art form in ways never experienced before. Through the Dance Film Festival, PNB seeks to amplify dance films and emerging artists by showcasing their work with PNB’s audiences in Seattle and beyond. (The festival originally screened online. This will be its first public airing in Seattle.)
Movies start at dusk (about 9pm).
