Henry V Bar(d) @ Seattle Shakespeare (Seattle Center)
Henry V Bar(d) is a loud, rowdy, off-the-cuff celebration of the beloved history play. Inspired by Chicago’s Back Room Shakespeare Project and sponsored by Solo Bar, Seattle Shakespeare Company takes on this political adventure play in raucous style. Working without a director, a group of serious actors will have only one rehearsal and then, for two nights only, they will share a live, 90-minute version of the full show.
The Players: Courtney Abbott, Ania Briggs, Quinlan Corbett, S. Franco, Kelly Karcher, Jon Lutyens, Beth Pollack, James Schilling, Calder Shilling, Morgan Gwilym Tso, Lindsay Welliver, plus a special guest or two.
For this play, the Center Theatre transforms into a club-style space, where you can get drinks and be right in the action. Doors at 7, show at 8.
Tickets ($31) here.
