RBCC Players has been performing since 1984 in Richmond Beach. We are pleased to share we will feature a second new work of our 2023-2024 season, Coming Late of Age by .

Coming Late of Age takes us back to the 1980s, where we meet shy, math-loving Steven as he is having first-time romantic experiences in college and graduate school. Steve feels awkward and clumsy, when the older (2020s) Steven enters and begins coaching his younger self on how to navigate three stages of his life: a relationship that doesn’t happen, a first relationship, and a relationship that lasts. Final scenes reveal why older Steven is bringing back these memories, and what he can learn from his younger self. Presented as a staged reading with minimal costumes, props, and set. Written by Peter Gruenbaum.
