Trash and treasure, waste and wealth. Invisible lines for arbitrary categorizations. We are drawn to the shiny, to the sparkly and flashy, drawn to the futures that these promise. You can see it from the corner of your eye. Reach down to pick it up. It almost falls through your fingers. You scan to the right and the left for a moment, to assuage your conscience. It is in your hand, it could be yours. You could have it all, it whispers through its prismed rays. But don’t look too closely, what is clear is not always shatterproof.
